The University of Rochester Center for Medical Countermeasures against Radiation is an NIH/NIAID Center of Excellence. Our Center exists to bring together the knowledge, technologies, and effort of a multidisciplinary team of scientific personnel in order to develop drugs to mitigate or treat the effects of radiation exposure due to radiological terrorism or accident. Led by Principal Investigator Dr. Jacqueline P. Williams, the CMCR at the University of Rochester is one of 7 NIH/NIAID-funded centers throughout the United States. Please see our affiliates page for more information about the CMCR Network. |
